My own wedding was initially planned as an outdoor ceremony until it started pouring rain, an hour before we were set to start. Somehow, we relocated 100 guests to my bridal suite, meant for only 50. In a remarkable 30-minute scramble, we transformed the glam room into a cozy ceremony site. It wasn’t what I’d envisioned but it turned out to be the highlight of my wedding. The intimate setting and the rain falling softly outside, left a lasting impression. This experience taught me the importance of adaptability, the allure of intimate celebrations, and the importance of prioritizing love and connection even in the face of stress.
